New Features & Improvements:

  • Self Check-In Kiosk: Introduced a self-service check-in feature for registered attendees. Attendees can scan a QR code from their email invitation at kiosks to instantly print their ID badges. This streamlines the check-in process, ensuring attendees can begin their conference experience quickly and conveniently.
  • Staff Check-In Kiosk: Added a kiosk for staff to check in attendees using an iPad. It connects to a Bluetooth badge printer for printing badges for unregistered attendees. Staff can search for attendees by name, view check-in history, and manage handouts.
  • Walk-In Registration Kiosk: Implemented a new kiosk for walk-ins, enabling attendees to self-register and pay for their conference registration on-site.
  • Session Attendance Kiosk: Introduced a kiosk that allows attendees to record their session attendance using an iPad and podium setup. The app activates the front camera to scan the attendee's QR code and log them into the session.
  • Session QR Station: Added functionality for the app to display a live QR code. Attendees can scan it to sign into a session. If multiple sessions are in progress, attendees can choose which one to join.
  • Sound Effects Update: Replaced the existing sign-in and sign-out sound effects with more pleasant audio cues to improve user feedback.
