Stand-by Logs

These are unsuccessful logs recorded in Accudemia. Sometimes, the users would have problems signing in through Kiosks due to mistyping, not knowing their ID, or their ID information could be wrong in Accudemia. Capturing these logs allows linking sessions, which have no user information (could also be marked as a no-show with the proper users). Discover which users are having trouble to login so it can be fixed. You can also discover ill attempts where someone could be trying to guess someone else's ID.

Purpose: To view sign-in sessions and assign them to the proper student or class session.
How to Access: Center Attendance > Standby Logs

This section may appear empty if administrators have not configured the feature correctly in the Administration > Control Panel > General (Select your Center) > Sign-In Options section for your Centers/College. Click here to learn how to modify these settings.

This section lets users search for standby logs by applying filters and letting you choose the Location, Issue Type, Student ID, and Period.

  • The Location field lets you choose the Center/Classroom location you wish to view (one at a time).
  • The Issue Type field lets you choose whether the issue was because of an Unknown ID or Unknown Activity error:
    • Unknown ID: This section is a recorded log for each student that mistyped their ID or used an ID that was not yet uploaded on the imports.
    • Unknown Activity: This section is a recorded log for each student that signed into a SI Class session without being registered prior to swiping into the SI Class.
  • The Student ID field lets you search the students that either mistyped their ID or a student that signed into a SI Class session without being registered prior to swiping.
If you have a Student that claims they attempted to sign-in to the Center at a specified time and date, you can check these logs to see if maybe they mistyped their Student ID number or if they tried to sign-in and were unrecognized.
  • The Period field is used to filter out a range of when an incident happened. You can customize your own range by choosing Custom Range.

These are Center/Classroom standby logs that will not show up in any reports until they are resolved to a Student. These logs may or may not be recorded unless enabled in the Administration > Control Panel > General (Select your Center) > Sign-In Options
