Technical Contacts

Purpose: Create Contact users that have permission to be supported by the Accudemia Support Team. To request to remove or change your technical user's list, you must submit this from your admin account, which notifies the Accudemia Team of which users are authorized.
How to Access: Administration > Advanced > Technical Contacts

Add Technical Contacts

  1. To add a Technical Contact click on the  + Add New Contact  button on the top right.
  2. Search for the System User using their User ID or Name, then click on the contact to select them from the list.
  3. Now click the  Accept  button and they will be added to the list of Technical Contacts. A confirmation message will display.

Delete Technical Contacts

To delete a Technical Contact follow these steps:

  1. Select the checkbox next to the name(s) of the contacts you want to delete.
  2. Click on the button to delete the contact(s).
  3. A pop-up message Are you sure you want to delete selected contact(s)? should then appear, and by clicking Yes, the contacts(s) are deleted.

In the event of an emergency where you don't have admin access. Then an email can be sent to support@accudemia.com with an attached letter on the institution's letterhead stating who will be replacing (even if temporary) the Technical Contacts on the account.

Accudemia Support Policies

Here is an excerpt from our Support Policies regarding Technical Contacts:

  1. No direct support is provided to students. Instead, students need to submit their support questions to the registered technical contacts of that college. If the technical contact cannot resolve the issue, they may submit the issue to Accudemia's support.
  2. Support is provided to the authorized center or college staff only. Therefore, you need to enter these persons in Accudemia as registered Technical Contacts for your center or college.
  3. If you have an Accudemia Single Center license, then you can only have one Technical Contact.
  4. If you have an Accudemia Institution License, you can have one college Technical Contact, and you can have one technical contact per licensed center. So, for example, if you license 3 centers, you can have up to 4 technical contacts.
  5. Additional technical contacts can be added for a fee of $500/year each.
  6. You must specify your technical contacts by entering them into Accudemia's Technical Contacts Management screen. You can add contacts there as long as you have open slots for them.
  7. You can also remove or replace a person on the Technical Contacts list. This requires approval by our staff. Please allow two business days from receipt for the request for the change to be processed.
