Organizing the Homepage

All Accudemia accounts have a homepage to greet users. By continuing to read, you'll learn about what options are available for your type of Accudemia license.

Accudemia Light & Essentials Licensed Accounts

Accudemia allows you to organize the homepage based on your needs with the following options (as shown in the screenshot above):

  • Upcoming Appointments - This are specifically if the logged in user has Upcoming Appointments (always shown if enabled).
  • News This widget is always shown and can be updated in the Administration > Control Panel > Announcements section from the main menu in Accudemia.
  • Messages - This widget is shown if messaging is enabled under Administration > Control Panel > User Accounts > Communication.
  • Surveys - This widget is shown if the user has pending surveys.
  • Google Shared Calendar (shown if calendar ID is set up under Control Panel > Announcements)

Accudemia Licensed Accounts

Accudemia allows you to organize the homepage based on your needs with the following basic widgets:

  • Announcements - This is the College News and Center News that always appears on the homepage.
  • Appointments, Messages, (and Pending Surveys) - This are specifically if the logged in user has Upcoming Appointments (always shown if enabled), Messages (shown if messaging is enabled under Administration > Control Panel > User Accounts > Communication ), and Surveys (shown if the user has pending surveys but hidden if none to complete).
  • Calendar - This shows a shared Google Calendar if a “calendar ID” is provided under the Administration > Control Panel > Announcements section from the main menu in Accudemia.

And also includes these premium homepage widgets:

  • Availability - This shows the available staff for a particular center.
  • Manage Center - This shows a summary of the current Waiting Line (first 3 students), those Currently Signed-in (most recent 3 students), and the Recently Signed-out (Up to 3 students). In addition, you can click to see the full view and there is a Chart of the daily visits for the month for the Center displayed.
  • Session Logs - This allows you to see the most recent Session Logs for the center(s) being displayed. There's a button to create a new one or to review all, too.
  • Referrals - This allows you to see the most recent Referrals for the center(s) being displayed. There's a button to create a new one or to review all, too.
  • Surveys - This allows you to view the active surveys for the center(s) being displayed. There's a button to create a new one or to review all, too.
  • Chart Visits (Weekly and Daily) - This “Admin-Only” widget provides some useful charts with insights into the weekly and daily operations of the center(s) being displayed.
  • Across Semester Comparison - This “Admin-only” widget shows you a comparison of 2 semesters' Visits in either a Table or Chart, so you know how you are performing. Note: This module does not load anything until you make your semester selections.
  • Engagement Board Activity - This shows you a list of Top Posters, Most Popular Posts, and Posts with the Most Interactions (Likes, Comments, Replies, etc.) so that you can be aware of trending topics around campus.
  • Moderation This “Moderator-only” widget allows users designated to monitor the social Engagement Board can see quickly if there are any flagged posts to moderate, as well as statistics on the “Inappropriate Posts”, “Users blocked”, “Deleted messages”, and more (daily and overall).
  • Support Drop Box - This widget allows staff to see any recent tickets/submissions assigned to them or those that are up for grabs. This also has a button to create a new one or to review all, too.
