AccuCampus App - Student Manual

Depending on the permissions configured by your administrators you might not have access to all options/information, contact your administrators as needed for help

The AccuCampus app is a convenient way to do a lot of the commonly completed tasks from the AccuCampus website.

Login Using AccuCampus App

To login to the AccuCampus app you must first download and install the app, for instruction on how to download the AccuCampus app:

  1. Search for “AccuCampus” on the app store for your device or go directly to the AccuCampus app on Google Play or the App Store for the AccuCampus app download.
  2. Next, click the Install button from the AccuCampus app page from your device's app store.
  3. Done! Simply click the Open button from the AccuCampus app page from your device's app store.
  4. Once the app is downloaded you can sign in by clicking Login with username & password, and then enter the following credentials:
    • Domain - This is the campus domain and will be provided by the admin.
    • Email - This is your email for the college.
    • Password - The password provided by the center admin (you will be able to change it once logged in).
  5. When finished click the login button.

Find Help using the Campus Compass

When users first open the AccuCampus app or accucampus.net website might get a popup msg asking if they want to go to the Campus Compass.

  1. By selecting Go to Compass this is a quick way to find the help you are needing around campus.

  2. In this example, if you need “Help with your final exams” then you'll click that option.

  3. Now you'll see Services that are offered that can help you achieve that goal. In this example, we'll choose Tutoring.

  4. At this point, you'll see all the Locations available on campus to help you achieve that goal. In this example, I'll select the Library.

  5. Finally, I see a list of all the options available for me at this Location such as “Make Appointment”, “Website”, “Send E-mail”, or “View Map” for the selected Location. If I would like to choose another Location to try to find better options then I simply click back to view the Locations again. Or if you want to select one of the options it will take you to that area to complete those actions.

Enter a Virtual Wait-line

If you would like to jump ahead in the waiting line prior to your arrival then use our Virtual Wait-line option in the AccuCampus app.

  1. When you open the app, to access the Virtual Wait-line simply access the menu by swiping right and clicking on the Virtual Lines option.

  2. Once there you can select from the available Virtual Wait-lines.

  3. Select “Yes” to confirm.

  4. And now wait to get a notification once they are ready to see you.

Sign-in to a Center from your Smartphone

Students have the ability to Sign-in from a Bluetooth beacon once inside the Center. This can help elevate waiting in long lines at the Sign-in Kiosks.

  1. When you open the app, to sign-in at the center simply access the menu by swiping right and clicking on the Sign-in Station option.

  2. Once there you may need to enable Bluetooth.

  3. Once Bluetooth is enabled, confirm, and it will scan the area for a beacon.

  4. Select the Center and the reasons for your visit and go to see your Tutor or Advisor now.

You can do this while inside the center near the location you want to visit and use your own device to Sign-in at the center. This may not be available in all areas so check with the staff if the Sign-in Kiosk is the only option or just try to use this feature to see if it has been set up.

View Center and Class Attendance

Students can view their Center and Class Attendance details on the AccuCampus app.

View Class Attendance

  1. When you open the app, to sign-in at the center simply access the menu by swiping right and clicking on the “My Attendance” option under the Class Attendance heading.

  2. This is a list of Classes the student is enrolled in AccuCampus. Click on one to view the Attendance Details.

  3. Next is a summary screen for this class.

  4. If you want you can also view your Classroom Attendance details by tapping the details link. This will now show an Attendance Summary for just that class.

View Center Attendance

  1. When you open the app, to sign-in at the center simply access the menu by swiping right and clicking on the “My Logs” option under the “Center Attendance” heading.

  2. This is a list of all the Appointments and Sessions that you have had with Centers in AccuCampus.

How to create quizzes

1-Open the AccuCampus APP and go to the Quizzes section, to see all of them click on “Quizzes”:

2- In the Quizzes list you have the option to see the Quizzes you have built by clicking “Mine”, you can see all the quizzes that you have ever worked with if you click the “All” option, or you can see all publicly available quizzes if you click the “Search ” option, all these options are located at the bottom of the quizzes list:

3- To edit an existing quiz click on the name in the list and then click on the three dots at the bottom to access the “Edit”, “Remove” and “Visibility” options:



4-To create a “New Quiz Screen” OR “edit” a quiz already created you would need to follow the same steps(the edition will come with pre-loaded data):

Set a name and description for the quiz, then under category click the + sign to either create a new category or select one that is currently active in the system(you might need extra permissions to create a new category).


5-For this example, we are creating a new category called “U.S Modern History”, click on Done when you are finished:


6-Now that all the basic information for the quiz is complete we need to start adding as many questions as we want by clicking “Add question”:


7-For the question page, we start by : -Add the question at the top. -Add an image if you like in reference to the question (this is optional and it is highlighted in green in the next screenshot). -Set the time limit that the user has to answer. -Set the selection mode between Single or Multiple: -Click on at least 2 and a maximum of 4 possible answers and assign a value to each one and an explanation OR click on “answer with an image” to attach an image which will work as a response to the question (depending on the question), the options that are valid answers need to be marked as such:



8-In order to test the quiz in “Study Mode” go to the Quizzes section of the app and quick “Quizzes”, now select the quiz from the list, choose “Study” :


If you choose “Study” you will see the question and have the option to “Study Again” to re-stack the cards, “Flip Card” to see the response, click “Got it” to move to the next Card, you can also drag the card to the left or right to keep it for later and continue asking the next question, or drag it up to signal you “got it” :


9-In order to test/use the quiz in “Play Mode” go to the “Quizzes” section of the app and quick “Quizzes”, now select the quiz from the list, now you can specify “Play”:

If you choose “Play” you will see the question and have the option to select one or many of the responses in a certain amount of time:


Either you fail or succeed you will see messages referring to the outcome and the right and wrong options:


A final scoreboard is also shown:




How to play with Quizzes

1-In order to play a quiz go to the “Quizzes” section of the app and select the “Quizzes” menu, now select the quiz from the list, now you can specify “Play”:

Multiplayer- Challenge Mode

All participants log in to the AccuCampus APP and go to the quizzes section:


2-One participant selects a quiz from the list(for this example the “Birds Quiz”):

3- -Select the Challenge mode to configure the Audience: Everyone, Group, or Course(if you select Group or Course an additional option will ask you to search/select from a list) -Select the availability: This is the range from StartTimeto EndTime that the challenge will be available for. -Select the Scoreboard: select when do you want to show the scoreboard: In the end, After each question, Never. Choose “Public” if you want the scoreboard to show other user's scores, otherwise choose “Private” to keep this information limited to the owner.

-Click “Create”:

6-Here you can see the PIN that you need to send to other players to join the challenge(highlighted in green): After sending the PIN click on “Play”

7-Now that PIN allows others to join and start the challenge:

8-Now each user will start answering the questions and the system will show the scoreboard:

-Multiplayer- Host Mode

Follow the same procedure to select a quiz from the list, click “Learn” and now select “Host Mode”:

Configure the Audience: Everyone, Group, or Course(if you select Group or Course an additional option will ask you to search/select from a list). Select the Scoreboard: select when do you want to show the scoreboard: In the end, After each question, Never. Choose Public if you want the scoreboard to show other user's scores, otherwise choose private.

11-Now you have access to the PIN to be used to start the Host Mode play:

12-As users join you see a list like this, whenever ready click “Start”:

13-Click start so all participants can start seeing/responding to the questions, on the host machine you can see the questions that are been displayed:

13-Participants will start answering the questions and you will get a scoreboard usually at the end(or when it was configured):
