Locations

How to Access: General > Locations

Purpose: Used to create, edit, and manage Locations in AccuCampus. Locations Buttons

  • Create Location - Use this option to create a new Location at your account.
  • Courses - Use this option to redirect the user to the list of Courses.
  • Search Filter (Magnifying Glass) - This option filters the current view of the Locations on this screen to only show the Locations that match the typed search criteria.

  • search - Use this option to search for a specific location by typing the name.
  • Search In - This option specifies a location from the list.
  • Refine -Refine for those locations that have appointments enabled/disabled.
  • Apply Filters- Use this option to execute the search using the filters specified.



Location List Options

You'll notice on the right-hand side of every Location row you have a Delete button, and by clicking in “more actions,” you have access to an additional action button; this is their function and purpose:

  • Delete -Use this option to delete this User. <note> A confirmation message will prompt you to confirm this action(this is to prevent removing data by accident).</note>

More Actions - Click here to get the following options:

  • Manage Services - Use this option to manage all Services for this Location. <note>See more details in the next chapter.</note>



Manage Services- row option details

By using this option, the system redirects to manage the “Services” link to this location, in that screen, as you can see in this example below, you can view/add/delete Services as needed:


Create Location

This section is where you create a new location for a Center, Classroom, or Event Workshop.

General Info

  • Name - This is the display name of this Location.
  • Located in - This is an optional field that can provide additional information about where this location is and creates a group that the location can belong to. If you choose not to name a “Located in” group, it will display in a default “ General” group in the list of Locations.
  • Order - This is an optional field. Type in a number; this info is used to sort the location; lower numbers make this location show closer to the top while higher numbers do the opposite.
  • Active - This field “disables” a location, it will still show in the reports, but no attendance can be tracked on it.

Contact Info

  • Email - This is an optional field to display the user Email for this location and is used in the Compass in both the AccuCampus app and the Students login through the website.
  • Website URL - This is an optional field to display the webpage for this location and is used in the Compass in both the AccuCampus app and when the Students login through the website.
  • Street address - This is an optional field to display the physical address for this location and is used in the Compass in both the AccuCampus app and when the Students login through the website.

More Information

  • More information - This is an optional field used to specify diverse information such as Hours of operation, directions, and such.

Access Restriction

  • Restrict access - Check to restrict access to only certain users. The location will still be visible for everyone, but some information remains hidden.

Changing the access restrictions might take several minutes to take effect on other users.

  • Silent Tracking

Enabled - Use this to set up beacons for this location.

  • SAVE BUTTON - Click this option to save the configuration.
  • CANCEL BUTTON - Click this option to cancel and roll back without saving.




Location ratings

From the location list, select one and click the rating scale underneath the name of the location; you would be able to see the rating and how many votes it has so far(if any).

Click on this rating scale next to the Location Description; you will be shown a screen where you can rate this location and/or add a Description:

You can set this rating anonymously if needed.
Students will know exactly where this location is when AccuCampus uses this address to locate it using its exact postal mapping location.
