Certificates
How to Access: Events > Certificates
Purpose: From this page, you are able to create and design certificates. This is a two-step process – you will need to first create and name a certificate template, and then design it. You are also able to modify an existing certificate template if you need to update certificates from a previous event.
Certificate Buttons
- Templates - Use this option to create a new template for a Certificate. Please see the explanation below.
- Print - Use this option to print the Certificate, there needs to be at least 1 Certificate created to use this option. Please see the explanation below.
- Email - Use this option to email the Certificate, there needs to be at least 1 Certificate created to use this option. Please see the explanation below.
Template Option (Create Certificate Template)
Create New Certificate Buttons
- Name - Enter a Name and Description for the template. We recommend you make this specific so that other users will recognize it.
- Description - This is the description.
- Save and Design Button - Click this button to design the Certificates:
Design your Template buttons
- After selecting the template you will have 3 options.
- Use This Template -Please click to use this template, in the next screen you will customize the Certificates.
- Download Sample PDF -Please click to see a sample PDF.
- View all Templates - Please click this button to go back to the Templates selection screen.
Create New Certificate Buttons
- Keywords - This is an explanation of the different variables that can be used in the Certificates customization.
- Toolbox - Please double click from the list the item to be inserted in the Template(Text, Image, Barcode, Textbox) and specify the Font and Alignment.
Click Save to finish creating the Template
Print Badge option
- Certificate Template - A selection of canned templates will appear. Please select the Template from the list.
- Select the certificates to generate - Please select the scope of the users from which you will get the information to create the Certificates.
- Filter certificates by user role - Use this option to filter Certificates creation to only some roles.
- Generate certificates - Select whether the Certificates will ve created for all or specific users.
- Generate - Click this button to generate the PDF with the Certificates, this PDF can be opened/printed later.
Email Certificates option
- Certificate Template - Please select the Template from the list.
- Select the certificates to generate - Please select the scope of the users from which you will get the information to create the Certificates.
- Filter certificates by user role - Use this option to filter badge creation to only some roles.
- Generate Certificates - Select whether the Certificates will ve created for all or specific users.
- Generate - Click this button to proceed to the next screen where you will be able to select Certificates, email recipients and add a custom message before emailing the Certificates:
