Unresolved Swipes

How to Access: Class Attendance > Unresolved Swipes

Purpose: Used to manually view and update swipes that could not be resolved to a specific Student or the Class that was being tracked in the Class Attendance in AccuCampus.

Search Filter (Magnifying Glass)

You'll notice on the top right-hand side there is a magnifying glass icon, this is the filter area with these options:

  • Search- Use this option to search for a text in all Swipes(the text can be partial).
  • Search in- Use this option to restrict the search (above) to a certain “Category”.
  • All Types- Choose if you want to see only Swipes to sign-in/sign-out or both.



Unresolved Swipes Buttons

When you get to this section there are several options to help you call the roll for your Class:

  • Swipe a Card - Use this option to create a new Swipe (In or Out) for a Class session.
  • Roll Call - This brings you back to the initial Roll Call screen to select the Class and date for another Course.
  • View Attendance - Use this option to see the Attendance Sheet for the entire Class of Enrolled Students on one screen.
  • Search Filter (Magnifying Glass) -This filters the current view of the Unresolved Swipes on this screen to only show the Unresolved Swipes that match the typed search criteria.



Unresolved Swipes Options

You'll notice on this list of the Unresolved Swipes for the Class Attendance you have a few options and this is their function and purpose:

  • Unresolved Swipe Info/Name - Click the title of the Unresolved Swipe to see the issue details of this log to resolve it to a Student or Class.
  • Resolve - This option takes the user to the same screen as clicking the “title” to resolve this swipe to a Student or Class depending on the missing information.

  • Delete - Use this option to delete this Unresolved Swipe if it cannot be resolved to a Student or Class as well as if they were already updated manually so it would be a duplicate. A confirmation message will prompt you to confirm the deletion so that these are less likely to be deleted by accident.
Typically if there are a large number of entries in this section there is a configuration issue in the Classroom Sign-in Station settings, Class settings, or Student Enrollment that needs to be resolved.


Swipe your Card

Use this option if you need to swipe a card before/during or after the class is done:

  • Type- Select wether this is a Sign-in or a Sign-out.
  • Session Date-Pick the swipe date (by default it is set as today).
  • Session Name- Associate the user to this Swipe by selecting a name from the list.
  • Card #- Type-in/swipe the Card # associated to this Swipe-log.
  • SAVE AND SWIPE AGAIN- Proceed to click this button in order to save current information and then present a new form to record a new entry.
  • CLOSE- Click this button to rollback without saving.
