Downloading & Installing Accucampus Data Exchange

System Requirements

  • Computer: PC with a Pentium class processor.
  • Peripherals: A keyboard and a Mouse or pointing device
  • Memory: 3 GB or higher recommended
  • Hard disk space: 10 GB of free hard drive space.
  • Video: 1024 x 768 resolution. High color 16-bit recommended
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP or later
    (This includes Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and/or Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016)

Installing Accucampus Data Exchange

To start installing the software, click on the following link (or copy and paste it in the browser's address bar if it doesn't work):

you can find the same link in your AccuCampus by clicking Advanced Options–>Import and then Clicking View Documentation:

Click the Save File or Open option if prompted. Follow the on-screen instructions to install ADX.

If you get a warning message, you can click the “Run Anyway” and/or “Install” when asked.

Engineerica Data Exchange Tool

  • Installing the App - Please execute the file downloaded in the previous step and follow the wizard to install it, all options should be left as default.
  • Executing the App - Please run the application you just installed and select AccuCampus in the list of Applications:

Configuring the App - AccuCampus Credentials .

  • Domain -Please type in the Domain information.
  • Email -Please type in an administrator email.
  • Password -Please type in an administrator password.

Configuring the App - Import Options .

  • Import Type -Please select what type of information you are importing (e.g. Users, Courses, Services ).
  • File Path -Please use this field to select the path to the source CSV file containing the information.
  • Parameters -Please use this field to specify Parameters (this is an advanced feature.).

Configuring the App - Save Import Script .

  • Save Batch File -Please select where do you want to save the BATCH file that will be created (This is the file used to execute the import)

Configuring the App - Batch Script Creation .

  • Do you want to create a scheduled task to run this batch file -Please click Yes or No.

IF YOU SELECTED YES TO THE PREVIOUS STEP

Put a distinctive name on the Scheduled task that will be created.

Please use this screen to specify how do you want to have the schedule done, select how often and all other needed parameters.

If you click No the process will be over and you will have to use the BATCH file created in the previous step to run the import and/or use the file to do a Windows Scheduled task for executing such file regularly.

Uninstalling ADX

To uninstall ADX:

In Windows XP:

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Select Control Panel.
  2. View the list of programs.
    • In Windows XP, click the Add or Remove Programs link.
  3. In the list of programs now select “Accudemia Data Exchange”.
  4. Start the removal process.
    • In Windows XP, to the right of the program name, click the Remove button.
  5. Select the “Remove the application from this computer” option and click OK.
  6. Follow the prompts until the uninstall process completes.

In Windows Vista/7:

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
    1. Click the Start button.
    2. Select Control Panel.
  2. View the list of programs.
    • In Windows Vista/7, under Programs, click the Uninstall a program link.
  3. In the list of programs now select “Engineerica Data Exchange”.
  4. Start the removal process.
    • In Windows Vista/7, above the list of programs, either click the Uninstall button or click the Uninstall/Change button.
  5. Select the “Remove the application from this computer” option and click OK.
  6. Follow the prompts until the uninstall process completes.

In Windows 8:

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
    1. On the Start screen, type: “control panel”, and click on the Control Panel tile.
  2. View the list of programs.
    • In Windows 8, under Programs, click the Uninstall a program link.
  3. In the list of programs now select “Engineerica Data Exchange”.
  4. Start the removal process.
    • In Windows 8, above the list of programs, either click the Uninstall button or click the Uninstall/Change button.
  5. Select the “Remove the application from this computer” option and click OK.
  6. Follow the prompts until the uninstall process completes.

In Windows 10:

  1. Go to the Control Panel.
    1. Click Cortana, type: “control panel”, and click on the Control Panel tile.
  2. View the list of programs.
    • In Windows 10, under Programs, click the Uninstall a program link.
  3. In the list of programs now select “Engineerica Data Exchange”.
  4. Start the removal process.
    • In Windows 10, above the list of programs, either click the Uninstall button or click the Uninstall/Change button.
  5. Select the “Remove the application from this computer” option and click OK.
  6. Follow the prompts until the uninstall process completes.
