Entering a Tutor Schedule

To enter the Staff Schedule it can be done by you as an Administrator, or it can be edited by the staff/tutor themselves(this needs additional permissions).

Go to Center Attendance > Tutor Schedule to edit Tutor Schedule.

To edit as an Administrator:

  1. Click Tutor Schedule under Center Attendance on the left-side navigation.
  2. Select the location at Center, Type and select the Tutor, and Select your Edit mode. The calendar will be displayed depending on what you have selected. Click the Apply button to display the calendar.

  3. To edit it drag and drop the mouse for selecting blocks in order to edit the availability.

  1. Once you drag across a block you will be asked to define how that block will be used.

  1. Click Save to make these changes on the Tutor's schedule.

Copy the Tutor's Schedule to Other Tutors

  1. Load the schedule you want to be the source of the copy. To do so, fill in the tutor search box (and change the center, edit mode, or any other filter) and click “Apply Filter”.
  2. When the schedule has loaded, click on the “Copy” button on the top right corner.
  3. If you're in the semester's edit mode, you'll get the pop-up shown in the image below:

As you’re in the semester's edit mode, only the events defined for this semester will be copied excepting the events declared as exceptions. If you’re in the exceptions only edit mode, you’ll get the pop-up shown in the image below:

As you’re in the exceptions only edit mode, only the events defined as exceptions will be copied to the destinations. You can select to copy the exceptions in the entire semester or only the ones in the specified period. If you’re in the merged edit mode, you’ll get the same pop-up shown right above, but in this case, all events that match the copy criteria will be copied to the destinations, no matter if they’re defined in the semester's mode or they’re exceptions.

As you can see, you can also decide if you want to automatically assign to the destinations, the subject areas used in the source schedule. You’ll have to check that option if you want all your destinations to have the same subject areas than the source schedule has associated.

This short video shows an example of how to manage a calendar.
