Using a Sign-in Station

As a student, you will have access to some computers acting as Sign-in Stations(Kiosks) in specific places such as Labs and Student Centers, in order to use those Sign-in Station you will need your student identification number/card and a good understanding of what is your purpose on using the Station, some of these Stations will ask you nothing but your ID so your attendance is tracked such as in a Computer Lab where you just need to use the equipment, however, some Stations might ask you what specific Services and/or Courses you are interested in, please make sure to have that information handy, you can ask the Center Staff for help.

  • Sign-in- Please type your ID to sign-in (swiping your card could be another option if you have a magnetic reader available).

After typing your ID depending on how this Station was configured a certain number of steps might be needed, these would include steps like:


- Choosing Services (if requested to do so as in this sample).
Sometimes you will have an “Other (Feedback)” option that you can use just in case you do not see the Service that you need you can tell about it to the administrators.


-Choosing Courses (if requested to do so as in this sample).
Sometimes you will have an “Other (Feedback)” option that you can use just in case you do not see the Course that you need you can tell about it to the administrators.


-Choosing Tutors or Staff (if requested to do so as in this sample).
Sometimes you will have an “Other (Feedback)” option that you can use just in case you do not see the Staff you would prefer you can tell about it to the administrators.


-After selecting all options (as needed) you should see a message informing about the outcome.


When signing out just use your ID again, sometimes the system will show you a summary from your last 7 days attendance to the center, similar to this:
