AccuTrack WebLink

AccuTrack WebLink is an optional add-on to AccuTrack V6 that enables users to access the appointments scheduler via the web.  With this module students and staff can use a web browser to:

bulletSearch for open slots and schedule appointments.
bulletView upcoming appointments and schedules.
bulletCancel appointments if needed.

The web module has an easy-to-use interface that enables students to search for open slots based on the service required and preferred time.  When a suitable open slot is found, the student can selects it and set the appointment.

System Requirements - student side:

To use AccuTrack WebLink students can use any web browser that supports JavaScript including Microsoft IE and Netscape Navigator.

System Requirements - server:

To run AccuTrack WebLink you need the following:

(1) A computer to act as a web server.   A Web Server is fairly resource intensive so a reasonably fast machine (Pentium 300 or better) and at least 32 megs on Windows 98 and 64 megs on NT are needed.  Additional memory and speed are recommended.

(2) Windows 2000/NT (recommended)
AccuTrack WebLink is designed primarily to run under Internet Information Server (IIS) which runs on Windows 2000/NT Server. AccuTrack Web Link will run under Windows 98/95, but these do not provide an optimal environment. If you're running Windows NT, it's highly recommended you install the latest Service Pack (SP6) and the NT Option Pack which upgrades IIS from version 3.0 to 4.0.

Note that AccuTrack WebLink supports WebSite and Apache and any generic CGI server, but it is designed and tested primarily for Microsoft Web servers.  Windows 2000 should be considered the preferred platform.
